There wasn't much going on near the Kodak Theater this morning, but that didn't bother William. He wasn't looking for a crowd.
In fact, William had been expecting to find this place empty for the day so that he could have a place to start recruiting. He needed teammates while his family was still in Houston, and that meant he needed a lot of people to come for him to check out in a short amount of time.
At least, that's what he expected would be the best way to do it. There really wasn't a great plan in drawing out time by going to random individuals on the street and asking "Hey, do you want to hunt demons and vampires with me?" No, that would leak a lot quicker than pulling ten or so people off the street and talking to them all at once. Or so he hoped.
Tires screeched as William skidded down the street toward the theater, and with a dexterous move that would make some of the stunt guys around town jealous, Spun his truck to parallel park perfectly behind someone's nice new PT Cruiser.
"Like a Glove-ah!" William laughed as he quoted a line from a movie that was being re-shown on his favorite channel recently. His mirth was interrupted by a vibration coming from his jacket pocket. Moving quickly, William flipped his phone open and answered.
"Yea-llo?... Oh, Hey Piper,.. Yeah I'm just looking for extra vamp fodder.... Of course I'm joking, I wouldn't just let them die like that, It wouldn't be fun for anyone that way.... Yeah, I can't wait to see Y'all soon, I know it's gonna be great.... Yeah, I love Y'all Too... I'll See ya later. Alright, Alright Bye." Jack hung up and smiled, shaking his head at his youngest sibling's need to check up on him.
"Now: To business." Jack sighed as he entered into the Theater.
