the site plot:
A few years ago, the human race was in a blissful state of ignorance. They did not realize that walking among them were some of the deadliest beings in the world; now, no one stays out after dark. It was a group of well-meaning supernatural creatures that initially introduced themselves to the humans, going on late-night talk shows, scheduling question and answer sessions, and proving their powers in different, non-harmful ways. However, instead of arms open in a warm welcome, they were met by a chorus of screams and laws banning them from even the simplest of “normal” activities.[/center][/blockquote]
Amidst this chaos were a few wise but malicious creatures who saw a way to turn this situation in their favor. One of them, Silas Metzger, realized the humans were motivated by fear. It had been obvious for Silas’s entire un-life that vampires, werewolves, and the like were far stronger than any human could hope to be. But now that they were obviously afraid, Silas could manipulate them. He amassed an even larger army and began his assault on the centers of human power, such as government centers.
He made his already massive home in Los Angeles, California the headquarters for his movement, and their sole goal is world domination. They would like nothing more than to enslave the human race and feed from them like cattle.
But the “cattle” have a different plan in mind. The Resistance, formed by humans, werewolves, and even some well-intentioned vampires, intends to undermine Metzger’s rule and reestablish human control, or preferably some form of peaceful coexistence.
The Weapons are very unique psychic humans or mythical creatures who are as yet undecided. Many have already made their decisions but lack the courage or means to act on them, and all of them have something significant to contribute to whichever side claims them. Both good and evil combatants are searching eagerly for these rare but powerful beings in the hopes of persuading them to their side.
The damage is widespread—sections of cities and even entire towns are ravaged and destroyed—but the war itself has only just begun. Both sides are hindered by the inter-species rivalries that have existed as long as the creatures themselves. Can vampires and werewolves fight alongside one another when all they’ve known thus far is hate? Can vampires overcome their prejudices against humans and aid them, or will they ultimately betray them? And how do the Weapons factor into all of this?
